About Us
The origin of Jonnie’s Bakery dates back to the early 2000’s before Jonnie’s Bakery was even considered a possible reality. During this time, a family from Gilman, WI had started a small side venture they affectionately named after their multi-generational farmstead, Elder Valley Farm and Kitchen. The focus was crafting original salad dressings, dips and conventionally-baked goods that were sold at local farmer’s markets and grocery stores.
Over the years, this hobby project has grown in popularity. They’ve continued to make their delightful salad dressings and dips, as well as expanded into specialty kombuchas, teas and coffee roasting. However, the increasing prevalence of dietary restrictions could not be ignored. The challenge of taking beloved, classic and family recipes and modifying them to fit a broader spectrum of dietary needs preferences, while still maintaining taste and texture, was exciting. Thus in 2020, the great experiment began!
Three years into the undertaking and seeing continued growth, Jonnie’s Bakery took the natural step ofofficially separating from Elder Valley Farm and Kitchen to focus exclusively on gluten-free and vegan bakery. The Mission: to deliver a wider selection of fun, flavorful goodies that fit most dietary restrictions so everyone can enjoy and nobody has to feel left out.
Jonnie’s Bakery is a commercial kitchen located in Banbury Place in Eau Claire, WI. We’re proud to have been completely gluten-free since 2020
